(previous squat clean 1 rep PR @ 155)
decided to grind out today’s WOD
13:31 Rx – cleans one at a time, seemed like it took me forever to get all 30

Tabata push ups – 70 with a steep drop off last four sets

DBAR – have you tried Sunbutter? It’s paleo (ground sunflower seeds) and tastes way better than almond butter – has lots of fat with some protein and fiber

  • dm says:

Sunbutter is good, fairly large sugar content. I’m not sure if a caveman was able to farm sunflowers, shell sunflower seeds, place them in his grinder, grow sugar cane, process it and then evaporite the juice to form crystals, but raw almond butter is one of my favorite foods. No accounting for taste.
Weezy-way to get that work done. No drops?

I have never heard of Sun Butter but I am definitely going to research it and see how it feels in my diet. Thanks for the heads up!

I don’t know that much about dieting myself currently and I am learning from everyone to try to piece it all together. Personally, I have a hard time buying into a one size fits all diet and then buying all their products(See Barry Sears Olive oil etc etc-I was thinking WTF!?). For me, it has really been a touch and go approach and just sticking to fundamentals laid out by dan and pete to have enough of each of the 3 macro nutrients daily. It also depends on your goals – weightloss? Weightgain? Weight Maintenance? Once you know your goal you can figure out how much calories you need daily of each and then you can plan your meals accordingly – at least that’s what worked for me- Good Luck!
