What does IWCABTAMD stand for?  How does it relate to what we do?

Just got some intel that there were sub par push ups going on at the morning classes. When ego and the clock mix, bad form comes into play.

Rule #1: Check ego at door.
Rule # 2: Do it right in training, go for it in competition.
Rule #3: If caught doing bad push ups inside of 305 get your hall pass revoked.

Everyone needs to take a long hard look at themselves. What are we doing? Are we striving for excellence or settling for slop? When we talk about 20% slop, we are talking about the 20% that happens as we strive for perfection, not aiming for 20% slop and achieving 100%.

    Chest to the ground?
    Elbows tucked?
    Full extension at the top?
    Shoulders externally rotated?
    Hips off the ground?
    Full range of motion?

Dan – I thought you only have cameras in the bathrooms not out on the floor.

    WOD: 19:04
Could of (and should have) pushed a little harder on the last round to hit 18+min. Definitely got my pump on today. I’ll be walking around all big and swollen –watch out.

Never an excuse for a cheat pushup. Sounds like the form police will be out tonight. Always scale before sacrificing form.

Good workout, but not sure I reccomend it to anyone looking to do their best on sectionals WOD this week. Hand ripper (and I usually don’t rip) and back blow out.

Sean, the word is that you got all big and swollen when you saw the WOD today. (that was a layup).

I was just talking to Dana at BGI she said “shoulders over palms, straight line from crown of head to toe, chest, hips and quads move as one unit and touch the floor together. When that unit gets a kink in it, the perfect pushup is gone. Granted you will have some large bellies or chests touching first the impede the quads from touching and that I can forgive. NO ONE has quads big enough to be touching first!”

So she told me that no one in the gym whose hips sag gets an RX next to their name.

This is just a total guess:

Increased Work Capacity Across Broad Times and Modal Domains

Our goal is to do more no matter what we are doing.
