    Aren’t you planning on running a marathon in November?
    It seems counter intuitive to train the way you are training if you want to finish.
    As your friend, I strongly discourage you from any weightraining below 20 reps. You are trying to gain slow twitch fiber. The plan you are doing, as prescribed by a man who calls himself ‘NairBear’ on the internet, is according to ‘NairBear’, “all about fast twitch”. ‘NairBear’ himself said that this program is not what you want to do to finish the marathon. You know what you need to do. I understand, it’s scary to give up all of the things you like in favor of things you hate for a bigger goal. You made the choice, you said it out loud-deal with it, suffer, finish.
