I see the position on the right as better. Her shoulder is stacked over hep hands and her torso is somewhat close to being in line.
I am personally not a fan of the pike push up.
I understand that it works the inversion needed for a headstand push up.
I am of that opinion that dumbbell presses, regular push ups and barbell presses work better.
Once someone has the ability to press 3/4 bodyweight and can do 20 push ups, they’ll usually be able to do a few hspu’s free of ambats or boxes.
Concentration of form during push ups will help…so will attacking strength lifts with maximum intensity and focus.
