Litza has been working out for over 12 years, 9 of those the old fashioned way prior to coming to CrossFit305. What we mean by that is isolation movements and split routines. She would do 1 hour of weights such as Back and biceps or chest and triceps and then hit the treadmill for a half an hour. As a result of that pursuit when she was introduced to CrossFit she had an already developed strength base but the idea of combining weights, cardio and including a clock was far out there. It didn’t take much but since that first day she was hooked. Since then she loves to brag about her program and often feels like GI Jane after grueling workouts.
Her current goals are to improve at CrossFit movements a little bit at a time. She often stays late practicing movements she avoided in WODs on that day and hammers them regularly until she has a good grasp of that skill. Did we mention she LOVES abmat sit-ups? Currently she hopes to conquer handstand push-ups to go along with her new accomplishment of 100 unbroken double-unders. Way to go Litza!!! She has a blue collar work ethic which serves her well in CrossFit and her white collar world. When she arrives to CrossFit305 she is like a real life superwoman. Into the bathroom in her business suit all made up then comes out in her tights and hits it hard. Save us Litza! She has passion for fitness and it shows. We should also mention that she is a past nutrition challenge winner. Did we mention she LOVES abmat sit-ups? This girl can do it all. Crossfit305 has changed her life. She has become part of our family, has made many friends and we are proud to name her Athlete of the month.
